Dr. Jack F. Rocco is an experienced, Board-certified Orthopedic surgeon with Prima CARE Orthopedics.
Dr. Rocco is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed an Internship in General Surgery and a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Temple. Dr. Rocco served in the United States Air Force 35th Fighter Wing and was Chairman of Orthopedics at the Misawa Air Base in Japan. He practiced Orthopedic Surgery in Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina before joining Prima CARE Orthopedics in 2025. In addition to his expertise in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, he has also practiced cosmetic surgery and has expertise in men’s health.
Dr. Rocco is Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He served on the Board of Governors of Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and was an Adjunct Associate Professor at Penn State University. He was Founder and President of Operation Small Steps, a non-profit mission organization.
Dr. Rocco is dedicated to the holistic well-being of his patients, appreciating the complex relationship between physical conditions, psychology, and nutrition. He sees outpatient orthopedic referrals at Prima Orthopedics on the main Fall River campus, providing orthopedic examination, evaluation, non-surgical therapies, and immediate referral to surgical colleagues, when appropriate. Dr. Rocco is supported by Prima CARE’s extensive testing and imaging resources, Prima CARE Physical Therapy, and by the wide variety of Prima CARE medical specialists. He accepts most major insurances and is accepting new patients by referral. He is the successful author of a Wall Street Journal bestselling memoir.
