Dr. Marko Tkach is a Fellowship-trained specialist in Endocrinology and practices in Prima CARE’s Endocrinology Division. He is a native of Seekonk, Massachusetts and is dedicated to the health and well-being of his community.
Dr. Tkach is a graduate of The Wheeler School in Providence and Boston College in Chestnut Hill. He continued his pre-medical studies at Rhode Island College and Providence College and then earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Roger Willimas Medical Center and then completed his Fellowship in Endocrinology at CHA Bayonet Point Hospital (University of South Florida) in Hudson, Florida.
Dr. Tkach is expert in the management of endocrine abnormalities, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, and other endocrine and hormonal conditions. He has presented medical topics at local, state, and international endocrinology conferences and has remained active in the local Ukrainian community.
Dr. Tkach sees outpatient referrals in his Prima CARE Endocrinology Division office on the main Prima CARE campus, and sees inpatients for acute endocrinology issues at Saint Anne’s Hospital (Brown University Health) and Charlton Memorial Hospital. He is supported by his experienced office staff and by Prima CARE’s extensive testing and specialty medical resources. English is his native language, but he also speaks Ukrainian and Spanish
