Job Summary

Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting company's computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assessing a company’s information system and identifying gaps that need to be addressed
  • Communicating these gaps to the management in a simplified manner
  • Ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensuring security and privacy measures are in place
  • Monitoring security certificates and ensure the organization’s compliance with requirements
  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support to the company staff whenever needed.
  • Installing necessary updates to company software and hardware
  • Staying within budget and allocating cost for necessary updates and upgrade

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Strong troubleshooting skills specifically in network routing, dynamic routing, firewall policies, wireless, VPNs, etc.
  2. Monitoring tools and familiarity with SNMP, Netflow, assessing utilization and performance.
  3. Demonstrates a strong understanding of network security and resilience.
  4. Vendor experience helpful – Fortinet Firewall  (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager). Extreme Switch Management.
