Shannen Box is an experienced, Board-certified Physician Assistant in the Prima CARE Neurology Division. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Wingate University.
Prior to joining Prima CARE Neurology in 2022, Ms. Box worked as a Research Assistant in the Emergency Department at the University of North Carolina, and was also a medical scribe. She was a Neurology Physician Assistant in Binghamton, New York, caring for both inpatients and outpatients, and leading a team of Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner colleagues. She has participated in numerous volunteer activities in her local communities.
Ms. Box is experienced in the diagnosis and management of patients with neurologic conditions, and is dedicated to the well-being of her patients. She sees patients in the Neurology office of Drs. Farrel Douglas and Lobna Abdelwahab on the main Prima CARE campus in Fall River and is supported by the extensive diagnostic resources and other specialist colleagues at Prima CARE.
