Dr. Achilles Alcaraz is an experienced, Board certified Family Medicine physician. Dr. Alcaraz earned his Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery (MD) at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He completed a Medical Internship at Makati Medical Center in Manila, and his Residency in Family Medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
Dr. Alcaraz has practiced both Primary Care and Urgent Care Medicine in southeastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York for over fifteen years, most recently as a Primary Care Physician in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Dr. Alcaraz is Board certified by the Philippine Board of Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Philippine Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He sees patients of all ages at his office on the main Prima CARE campus in Fall River. He is dedicated to the health and well-being of his patients, emphasizing preventive medicine and personalized primary care.
He accepts most insurances and is accepting new patients. Dr. Alcaraz admits his patients to Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River and is supported by the extensive testing and specialty resources of Prima CARE.
