Dr. Michelle McKenney is an experienced, board-certified primary care physician, specializing in Family Medicine in Prima CARE’s Primary Care Partnership practice in Westport, Massachusetts.
Dr. McKenney is a graduate of Providence College, and earned her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Maine. She began her post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Kent Hospital in Warwick.
Dr. McKenney has dedicated her career to delivering caring and compassionate care to her patients in various settings in Massachusetts, and has served as Medical Director of the Hospice Division of Community Nurse Home Care. She is Board-certified in Osteopathic Family Medicine and by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association. She has volunteered her skill and expertise internationally in Haiti and West Africa.
