Positon: Medical Receptionist – Walk In

The Walk-In receptionist will be the first member of the staff to interact with the patient via their arrival or over the phone. They play an integral role in the Patient/Prima CARE relationship.
They will be responsible for a variety of activities in the front office including being aware of the reasons for patient to be seen, recognizing symptoms and prioritizing visits according to urgency. The receptionist will create Tele/Audio Visits, DOT, Camp, Sports Physicals appointments, perform telephone reception, routing and screening calls, greeting patients/visitors, verifying demographic information, insurance coverage and scanning any missing or updated forms to complete patient registration.
Assist COVID screen team with questions and concerns regarding reported symptoms. Additionally, they are responsible in reviewing, explaining and collecting patient account balances, collecting co-payments, and collecting all Diagnostic Center Self Pay, the coordination of mail and contributing to the security of the Centers.
