Meet Ziad Hinedi, MD
Dr. Ziad Hinedi is Board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Internal Medicine. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston, performed medical research, and practiced Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine. Dr. Hinedi then completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Emory University in Atlanta. He served as Chief Fellow during his Endocrinology Fellowship. He joined Prima CARE in 2013.
Dr. Hinedi performs diagnostic neck and thyroid ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) for thyroid nodules, parathyroid adenomas, and malignant lymph nodes in his office. His specialty credentials include Endocrinology Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU).
Dr. Hinedi is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to administer radioactive iodine to treat hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer, He is also certified in interpretation of bone density scans and treatment of osteoporosis by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
Dr. Hinedi is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Syrian Medical Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He has contributed to the medical literature in diabetes.
